Russia is prepared to present a formal settlement proposal to Ukraine once the agreed-upon prisoner exchange is finalized. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who highlighted that Moscow is actively engaged in the second phase of the agreements recently established in Istanbul.
According to Lavrov, the next phase involves each party creating a proposal document that outlines specific conditions for achieving a “stable, long-term, and comprehensive peace agreement.”
“We remain committed to the agreements made during the Istanbul discussions. We are in the process of finalizing internal procedures to compile the list of prisoners as part of the exchange agreement at a ‘one thousand for one thousand’ ratio,” Lavrov stated.
