Following last week’s meeting between Giannis Alafouzos and Rui Vitória, Panathinaikos has confirmed that they will retain the Portuguese coach for the upcoming season.
However, there has been significant speculation, including reports suggesting otherwise, which has led the club to reaffirm its position.
From the “green” camp, it was specifically noted:
“Although we have already declared our intention to proceed with Rui Vitória as our coach for the new season, we feel the need to address recent media reports that are causing confusion. Panathinaikos has a coach, and that coach is Rui Vitória. We are actively planning for the upcoming season with him. Any other claims do not reflect the truth and serve alternative agendas.”
