Powerful explosions were reported in the Pakistani region of Kashmir near Muzaffarabad shortly after midnight on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
Eyewitnesses stated that the area is currently without electricity.
As reported by Pakistani state television, India carried out missile strikes on three different locations.
The Indian Defense Ministry announced that the strikes were aimed at “terrorist infrastructure” in Pakistan and the Pakistan-controlled regions of Jammu and Kashmir, from which terrorist activities against India are allegedly planned and executed.
