OTE reported a 1% increase in revenues and a 1.8% rise in Adjusted EBITDA (AL) growth for the first quarter of 2025.
Adjusted profit attributable to the parent company reached 159.4 million euros, marking an 11.9% increase from 142.5 million euros during the same period last year.
The group’s adjusted EBITDA (AL) totaled 329.1 million euros, reflecting a 1% growth primarily driven by a 1.8% rise in Greece, although mobile performance in Romania affected the overall growth rate.
Specifically, revenue from retail fixed services in Greece remained stable at 228.6 million euros for the quarter. There was a noteworthy rise in TV customers (+6.8%), and FTTH subscribers surged by a record 36,000. By the end of March 2025, the total number of FTTH subscribers reached 430,000, accounting for 18.3% of all broadband connections. The penetration rate of OTE customers using FTTH infrastructure has surpassed 46%, highlighting the demand for high-quality connectivity services. The mobile sector also experienced positive trends, with service revenue increasing by 1.2% and postpaid subscribers growing by 6.1%. Additionally, other revenues rose by 5.9% during the quarter, driven largely by robust activity in ICT projects, particularly a 17.8% increase in system solutions revenue.
