Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated earlier today to the families of the hostages that he is willing to proceed with the latest proposal from U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff for a temporary ceasefire and an agreement concerning the hostages, according to the news site Axios.
Hamas, however, reportedly is not satisfied with this proposal, as it seemingly leaves room for Israel to continue fighting after the temporary truce ends.
