A 50-year-old Bulgarian man was arrested in Thessaloniki after facing charges in his home country for a sexual act allegedly committed against a woman who is completely blind.
Bulgarian authorities had an outstanding European arrest warrant for him. The incident in question reportedly occurred in December 2021.
According to legal documents, the accused is said to have sexually harassed the victim through inappropriate touching of her private areas.
He is being brought before the appellate prosecutor to initiate the process concerning the Bulgarian request for extradition.
