Η Μπαλιμίνα απέχει περίπου 30 λεπτά από την πρωτεύουσα Μπέλφαστ. Τα επεισόδια έγιναν λίγες ώρες μετά από μια οργανωμένη διαμαρτυρία στην περιοχή. Η αστυνομία ανακοίνωσε ότι ερευνά βίντεο και καταθέσεις για να βρει τους υπεύθυνους.
