Following a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the need to “maintain pressure on Russia,” noting his discussions with Trump alongside leaders from the UK, France, Germany, and Poland during a European meeting in Albania.
In a related post, Zelenskyy stated: “Ukraine is prepared to take swift actions to achieve genuine peace, and it’s crucial for the world to adopt a strong stance.”
He added, “Should the Russians reject a comprehensive and unconditional ceasefire and continue their attacks, we must implement strict sanctions. Pressure on Russia should continue until they are ready to end the war. I thank everyone globally for their support,” remarked Zelenskyy.
