Tragedy struck on Saturday afternoon (14/6) in a village in Mόvria, Western Achaia, when a refrigeration technician was electrocuted and lost his life.
According to information from tempo24, the 53-year-old technician was working in a laboratory equipped with a refrigeration unit. During the job, a small explosion occurred, resulting in the technician being shocked by electricity.
Emergency services were called, and he was initially taken to the Health Center in Kato Achaia, but it was soon deemed necessary to transfer him to the University Hospital of Patras.
Unfortunately, the 53-year-old did not survive, leaving his family, relatives, friends, and colleagues in deep mourning.
It is noteworthy that, according to reports, the tragic incident occurred in front of his son, who had accompanied him to the laboratory.
